It is more than thirty years since first AIDS victim was reported. Many little fruitful studies have been made
from various corners of the world searching for treatment or prevention without
satisfactory success.
This
claim made by the India Government of having discovered a Drug to treat and
cure HIV/AIDS leaves many of us in doubt and hope. It is said it is not like
other antiretroviral drugs such as AZT,3DC or Abacavir (Ziagen) and many others just to name a few ,which just
prolong the life of the HIV/AIDS patient. It is unique, this drug cures. What good
news!
All in all, what astound me a lot is that, World Health Organization
has never slept a single moment, it always monitors closely and sometimes
assists financially efforts of all HIV/AIDS
studies but for these Indian achievement it has been quiet why?
In the report presented at the Worlds Aids Conference on 1-3
December 2006, at Tianjin , China
Dr. Avram Hershko, (Nobel Prize Laureate in Chemistry in
2004), Dr. Rulf M. Zinkernagel, (1996 Nobel Prize Laureate in Medicine) and
many others just to mention but a few.
But the situation shows there is a competition on other side
of the frame contains competitive element, within of who should be pinnacle of
this discovery.
A lot of research by different organizations world wide have
been performed and yet no encouraging finding have been achieved.
Many trial experiments world wide for those discovered
drugs and vaccines have been done and the results found were wonderful but we were
still told vaccine or treatment for HIV/AIDS are not nearly to be achieved.
Nevertheless, hope
does not exist so far as allegedly required correction of deficiencies and challenges
occurring.
The main reasons of failure for the found drugs or vaccines
are that the AIDS virus exists in many species and they mutates frequently and
quickly on responds to the medication or vaccine obtained.
The claim of discovering a Highly Effective Unani Anti-HIV
Drug, that undergone
a prove by DNA-PCR Antigen Test during the Worlds Aids
Conference, that it treats and cure HIV/AIDS
brings back the lost hopes.

Amazing thing is that
why WHO remains silent up to now for a good and a promising achievement as this.
Equally strange, what we see from leaders of many developing
countries as well as from those who are in better financial position exceeds
rush to India
for treatment. This real reminds as of that situation where many were flooding
to grandfather (babu) of Loliondo.
If the trend continues as it is now our hospital will become
redundant for we will all end up going to India as we were flooding to
grandfather of Loliondo.
Swahili people says; “what is said, exists, if it doesn’t
exist by now it will happen.” Indian will not only sell us “bajaji” three
wheeled motorbikes but they will also come up as masters of essential drugs as
well.
